About Us

Lissome Hair and Beauty is situated in a small sandstone cottage on the main road of historical Old Reynella. Originally opened as "Reynell Hair Designers" in 1987, then shut it's doors in early 2012 to be reopened as Lissome in May 2012.

Lissome's building was the first salon ever opened in Old Reynella and is still today structurally untouched even though having a new modern feel to the interior, keeping that little bit of history alive.

In the early years the salon was the "to-go-to" salon even servicing high profile television personalities, as well as all the lovely locals. Some of who are still with us today now trading as Lissome.

Lissome prides it'self on providing professional and inexpensive services while still offering excellence and high expertise.

We are a duo team who have trained at basic and advanced levels  at highly acclaimed institutes in both Australia and New Zealand.
We are consistently raising the bar to achieve the highest standards available with constant training and ongoing education, You will no doubt be coming back and recommending your family and friends to us.

We offer both on location and in salon services to our client's looking to book for special occasions such as milestone birthdays, engagements, weddings and formals just to name a few.

We work in conjunction with a local photographer to be able to offer photographic shoots to help keep us at the forefront of hair and makeup trends, we also provide on location hair and makeup for special occasions.

Lissome is a Lish select salon, which means our salon is one of the few salons around who use an Australian branded nail and beauty label which is not tested on animals, does not contain the toxic ingredient MMA  (Methyl Meth Acrylate) and it's our way of supporting our local Aussie industry.

Our mission is to always deliver superior colours and designs to suit your needs, personality and life style, while at the same time preserving the beauty and health of your hair and nails.
